Public Notices Policy

As a community resource center Red Feather Lakes Community Library provides
space as available for the posting of community or cultural information flyers,
bulletins, and other informational materials. Posting must be done on designated
Library community bulletin boards and are subject to approval by the Library
Director.
To be considered for posting, materials posted must be non-commercial, nonprofit
and non-partisan. Community organizations, events, fundraisers, calendars of
events, and social events open to all residents or visitors are encouraged to submit
material for posting.
As a community service as well as a continuing community issue, the Library does
allow limited posting of lost pet and animal flyers as well as limited posting of
commercial event-oriented occurrences as room allows. These are considered on a
first-come, first-served basis.
As space permits, community business cards may be placed within the library
business card display unit. Cards will be occasionally rotated.
Religious or spiritual organizations with a permanent local address are welcome to
post hours of service, contact information and events. Doctrinal material is not
accepted.
Political postings are not permitted.
Referendum or petition-gathering is not permitted on library property.
The placement of other materials within the Library such as newsletters, magazines
brochures, handouts and related free material is at the discretion of the Library
Director.
Precedence will be given to local information and community services.

The Library reserves the right to accept or reject any submitted posting material.
Duration of posting is at the discretion of the Library.
