Computer Classes

Registration : To register for class please contact the Library by phone (1-970-881-2664) or in-person. People who register will receive a reminder phone call before the class starts.

Computers & Refreshments : For each class you can bring your own device, or with prior notice a device can be provided for you. Refreshments will also be offered at the classes.

Win A Free Laptop! Learners will receive one prize-drawing ticket for each class they attend.
On March 24th a ticket will be randomly selected, and the winner will be notified by phone that they have won a free laptop.

Using a PC (Windows 11) March 4th 10:30am – Noon
Learn how to access files, shut down, restart and put the computer to sleep, manage
user accounts, access computer files and computer settings.

Internet Basics & File Management March 11th 10:30am – Noon
Learn how to view and navigate Web pages. The second part of the class will be
navigating File Explorer, creating new files and manipulating existing files.

Mobile Devices March 18th 10:30am – Noon
The first half of the class will focus on Android Phones. The second half of class will
focus on iPhones. External buttons, common apps and settings.

Cyber Security March 9th 1:30pm – 3pm
Tips to recognize online fraud and scams; what to look for when entering personal
information online.

Making Money Online March 16th 1:30pm – 3pm
E-Bay bidding strategies and selling on E-Bay: What’s free and auction upgrades.

Telehealth March 23rd 1:30pm – 3pm
Types of Telehealth care, what is a patient portal and troubleshooting technical
problems
